FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: Here's a look at the newly revamped Admiralty Park.

I can imagine people from all walks of life heading up north of Singapore just to try the slides but it wasn’t all fun and games for two people who shed blood at the park – literally.
What happened ?
According to Stomp, 24-year old Ms Jian and her sister sustained injuries after she was allegedly thrown off a 23-m long, 9m-high slide at Admiralty Park.
They visited the park on 5 Nov at about 6:00 p.m., Shin Min Daily News reported.
Ms Jiang claimed that she suffered injuries to her head shoulders, arms, thighs, and spine while her sister had bruises on her leg.
She also said that she spent $52 on a visit to a TCM practitioner for her injuries.
Apparently, they weren’t the only ones who were concerned.
She mentioned that other users had trouble controlling their speed while the descended.
“The slide was very steep and the rate of descending was very fast. Out of fear I tried to use both my hands for support, but I still lost control in the end and was thrown off the slide,” she added.
Stomp mentioned that people visited the scene at around 6:00 p.m. on that day and they allegedly witnessed a mother and her younger daughter falling after they landed from a slide.
But this doesn’t seem to faze people as they noticed that the slides were quite popular and they had to queue for half an hour to a ride on it.
Oh, yeah. Queue for a slide.
Ms Jiang mentioned that she hopes the authorities can implement more safety features to prevent others from getting hurt.
I can’t say much since I have not visited the park but if the authorities could invest so much in a park, I am pretty sure they checked the safety regulations.
If you have been to the park, let me know how steep are the slides?
