Been witnessing random newspapers lying on grass patches?

Tip: don’t use them for your morning read.

According to Stompa lady has been covering her dog’s faeces with newspapers…

And yes, it’s YishunAgain.

Woman Left Dog Poo Covered in Newspaper in Yishun Grass Patch

On 23 May 2020, Stomper Rouk noticed a lady and her dog at this particular spot near Block 671A Yishun Avenue 4, which was allegedly the pair’s “favourite” faeces disposal area.

However, instead of clearing the faeces, the woman would cover them with newspapers and vacate the scene. Fast.

“On May 23, I was standing by my window when I saw this particular lady and her dog at this grass patch which is apparently their favourite spot,” the Stomper said.

“My wife had told me about them before.

“She would bring her dog to the grass to defecate but what is wrong about this is, the lady won’t even clear it!”

“Instead, she will put newspaper on the dog poo and quickly escape with her dog from the crime scene.”

The Stomper managed to capture the act on camera: the woman could be seen waiting for her dog to finish its potty business, before ‘shielding’ the defecation with newspaper and deserting the scene.

Another picture, which was taken by Stomper Rouk on 27 May, showcased newspapers ‘adorning’ the grass patch.

It’s like a buffet. Everything on offers seems to be budget-friendly or even free, but once you take out the exterior, you discover that it’s shit.

“This lady needs to be aware of her wrongdoings,” Stomper Rouk said.

And it seems that he’s right, considering how on 31 May at around 5:55 p.m., the woman struck again.

One can only wonder how long the woman intended to keep up such an act.

If it wasn’t for Stomper Rouk, the entire neighbourhood of Yishun would probably start smelling like dog poop. No kidding.

Nee Soon Town Council Responds

A spokesman from Nee Soon Town Council has since replied to a Stomp query, and stated that it was the “first time” the Council had heard of such feedback.

“This is the first time Town Council is alerted to similar feedback.

“Upon hearing this, we have deployed our cleaning staff to check and clean up the mentioned area.”

They’ve also put up a post to remind residents of the appropriate ‘pet waste’ removal process.

“We have also put up a poster at the block to remind residents on proper disposal of pet faeces.

“Town Council will also monitor this situation.”

Residents are implored to cooperate with standard estate cleanliness protocols. According to the Council, it’s particularly important during this time period, when cleaners can afford to focus on other more time-sensitive matters.

“We would also like to seek residents’ cooperation to help upkeep the estate cleanliness, especially during this period so that our cleaners can focus on essential works.”

As such, we hope that the woman would cease such behaviour before any further action is taken. After all, it’s one thing to be featured on Stomp…

It’s quite another to be recognised as the ‘dog poop lady’ from Stomp.
