A little warning, looking at cute pet chicken pictures might make you feel weird eating chicken for lunch later.
Yeah, these aren’t chicken meant to be eaten.
These are fabulous fancy pansy chickens.
But anyway, the 4 pet chickens are still not found according to what we know so far.
4 Pet Chickens Missing On 22 July 2019
Miss Adeline Lim, the 25-year-old owner of Naturespace, found her one buff-laced frizzle polish chicken and three white silkie chickens missing when she went to feed them on 22 Jul 2019.
Naturespace is an experiential learning centre about nature, located at Loewen Road, Dempsey.
She thought they escaped, but the coop doors were closed, so it was more likely they were stolen. The coop is closed with a sliding bolt without a lock. There are no signs of entry and no holes in chicken wires. It is unlikely these chickens were eaten by wildlife or by a hangry BuffLord95.
She later walked the whole of Dempsey to look for them with her team and made a police report when she couldn’t find them.
The policeman who handled the case might be thinking, “Shit, could it be my lunch…?”
Then, Her Chickens Were “Found”
On 23 July 2019 afternoon, she then received a call, in which a person saw three white silkies at Block 159 Toa Payoh Lorong 1.
However, when she was there, these white silkies were “very dirty and the feathers were all matted”.
“I was so shocked when I saw the chickens. I didn’t know that it would be this bad after missing for two days.”
Except, They’re Not
After cleaning up… She realised they were not her pets.
They just happened to be the same size and the same number of them.
Those 3 chickens appear to have been abandoned at the dumpster malnourished, and she is keeping them now. (Compare them to the fabulously maintained feathers on the missing notice.)
Until a CCTV is installed in the school, the chickens will be kept indoors.
