What if I were to tell you that Covid-19 is an act of God?
And that the reason why this is happening is that too many people are worshipping “fake” idols like musicians, athletes and more?
That was what WWE legend Hulk Hogan said about the coronavirus on his social media account.
Maybe We Don’t Need The Vaccine, We Just Need Jesus
A few days back, Hulk Hogan uploaded this IG post to his 1.5 million followers:
He started off by implicitly saying that the entire reason why Covid-19 happened is because of humans:
you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don’t want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can’t go to church
He went on to say that maybe, just maybe, the only way Covid-19 will be gone is to believe in Jesus.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Maybe we don’t need a vaccine, Maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus.
So far, his post has garnered 69K likes.
The Latest In The Line Of Religious Blaming
This WWE legend isn’t the first to call Covid-19 an act of God.
A pastor in the US also said the same thing and stubbornly asked for followers to gather despite Covid-19 measures.
The South Korea Shincheonji Church also landed the country into hot soup.
And Indonesia’s health official once said that it is an “act of God” that Indonesia has “zero Covid-19 cases”.
Thankfully, in Singapore, even our most infamous pastor knows that when it comes to Covid-19, measures must still be followed.
So let us all obey the safety distancing measures so that we can resume our normal lives as soon as possible, yeah?
