S’pore’s First Film About Zombies Looking for Zombie Actors. Tag Your Friends Who Don’t Need to Act Now!

Do you aspire to be an actor?

Are you a fan of the Walking Dead series?

Have you ever wanted to scare the living daylights out of a celebrity?

If you find yourself nodding along to all three points, this one’s for you.

Singapore film Zombiepura is looking for zombie actors, and it could just be you!

The script for the upcoming comedy film was actually produced eight years ago, but financing issues, coupled with investors’ unwillingness to pump money into a questionably-themed film that’s being handled by a first-time feature film director, forced the film to be delayed by near a decade.

However, the success of NS-themed movies like “Ah Boys To Men” and the Asian zombie film “Train to Busan” has changed industry players’ mindsets, and the movie has been given the green light.

Slated to commence filming in January, the movie will follow a lazy reservist soldier and a commander as they fight for survival against zombies in their ulu army camp.

The film’ll star local actors Alaric Tay (The Noose), 38, and Benjamin Heng (Recruit Diaries), 41.
