Wah, Rui En Brought 周崇庆 to New Zealand for His Birthday & Paid for All The Expenses

Everyone, I had a friend like Rui En too. Yes, a normal friend.

She planned everything, from accommodation to meals and flew me to New Zealand for my birthday.

Everything was taken care of and I had to worry about nothing.

Yeah right. I’m sorry to disappoint you because I was just dreaming.

The above situation happened to Rui En and Dennis Chew (周崇庆). Those who have no idea who Rui En is, she’s known as the ice queen who rarely smiles on camera (when she’s not acting).

She’s also known for the alleged drink-driving case, for breaking traffic rules and slamming her neighbor’s phone.

Seems like all bad stuff hor?

But this lady who’ve gotten into the media’s bad light has a different side to her after she was reported to have paid for all expenses for the trip to New Zealand with Dennis Chew.

According to Dennis Chew

Rui En not only paid for all expenses, she even planned a sweet surprise for him.

Dennis loves the movie Narnia and parts of the movie were actually filmed in New Zealand itself. So his dear girlfriend, oh wait, I mean this girl-friend brought him to ‘Castle Hill’ while putting a blindfold on him.

When the scene was revealed to him, he was extremely touched, beyond words.

Translation: I really 的 very dry move.

Okay, it actually means “I’m touched.”

I mean, who wouldn’t be? We’re talking about an ordinary friend here.

A friend who knows that you fancy a movie so much to fly you over to the actual filming scene location.

Not only for Dennis, I’m also baffled. Let’s not talk about the friend zone, I’m wondering if I would ever do this for my future boyfriend.

I think Rui En’s best friend must be Winnie the Pooh. Because I think she’s drunk on honey.

Too sch-weeeeet!

When asked if the Rui En and Dennis Zhou have future plans to travel together…

Dennis says that the 5D4N were filled with laughter and jokes which he thought was indeed a meaningful time.

And… they wished there will be more of such opportunities.

What’s next?

I’m not sure what’s happening between these two. But based on Dennis’s speeches and social media, Rui En is only a sister to him.

He mentioned in the video that ‘she’s a very thoughtful sister’.

In two of his Instagram posts, Rui En is also sister-zoned with the hash tag #Siblings.

Not #mybaby but #mybabymei. Yup, baby sister. Pretty much it.

What do you think? Can a man and woman travel together as friends? Or rather, the more fundamental question, can they truly just be friends?

In my opinion (and backed by some findings), yes you can, but at one point or another, you will fall for each other.

I know of a real life example between a male and female who are best friends because they have passed the “I fell in love with you” stage.

It was a blessing for them because they fell for each other at different timings, and neither confessed.

Just imagine this, guy falls in love with girl in 2015, girl falls in love with guy in 2016 and moved on. Confession only happened in 2017 but they were no longer attracted to each other.

This is what we call the safe zone.
