Jeans are an essential staple in every person’s wardrobe whether you are a guy or a girl. However, if you go for big brand names like Levi’s or True Religion, you’d probably have to say bye-bye to half the content in your wallet. Jeans are usually made of denim, which is a super hardy material. You don’t have to buy expensive ones just to make sure they last a long time. Looking for the best place to buy jeans? We have curated a list of eight of the best places to buy jeans, so go ahead and take your pick!

Queenstown

You have quite a number of places to buy your jeans here even if you just visit Queensway Shopping Centre. Although they are more known for selling shoes, there are quite a number of budget-friendly apparel stores here too. Also, you have Anchorpoint that is kind of like a small IMM – it is full of outlet stores that will prove to save you money.

C K Department Store

We are talking about the neighbourhood shop CK, not CK Tang or Calvin Klein (jeans from those stores cost 10 times as much). Many foreign workers and domestic helpers get their wardrobe from here, so if you rummage through the racks you are sure to find steals for as low as $20 for jeans!

Uniqlo

The Japanese brand may be more famous for their technologically-advanced materials, but they are a super good place to get some cheap basics, including jeans. We have seen jeans going for as low as $39.90 and even lower when there are sales!

H&M

The Swedish apparel giant is quite possibly the best place to buy jeans for cheap. Though the usual apparels like cotton basics may not last too long, jeans are the perfect budget-friendly items that will last you through a lot of wear-and-tear.

New Future

Ah, some of us will probably remember the rage over them quite a few years ago. New Future jeans used to go for only $20 a pair but now the prices have risen a bit due to inflation. However, you can still get them for a really low price ($30) from Bugis Village or one of their shopping mall stores.

Peninsular Plaza

Another popular shopping centre with foreign workers, you can easily get your jeans fix for below $50, sometimes even below $30 if you find the right stores (and sizes).

Far East Plaza

Anyone who shops enough will know that Far East Plaza hosts some pretty good shops. You can often find cheap and trendy clothes here and we heard that you can even haggle a little if you buy more than one piece!

Zalora

You can check out their occasional pop-up stores but for 24-hour shopping, their website does a great job of collating all brands of jeans. We just found them starting from $17.90 for a pair of men’s jeans. Total steal!

Carousell

Or if you don’t mind, you can look for some secondhand jeans. Many sellers sell their clothes after wearing only once, and if you dig deep enough you can even find BNWT (brand new with tags) jeans. If you want, you can haggle the price down to a suitable one too (just be polite and know when to back off, haggling down to $50 for a pair of True Religion jeans is NO-GO).
