Not all girls are the same. Some of them are more than willing to share their feelings while others may not be nearly as in touch with how they feel. If you’re the latter, here are 10 unobvious signs that you’re deeply in love.
Giving in, even when he’s unreasonable
Your boyfriend may not be the best guy around but you’ll do almost anything to give in to him. For example, even when he is being a couch potato and asks you to bring him a cup of coffee, you may roll your eyes but you would still do it.
No one can change how your opinion of him
Maybe your girl friends have met him, maybe they are just judging him from his Facebook posts. Whatever it is, no one can change your opinion of him. “Why is he always taking photos with girls?” You’ll tell yourself it’s because of his job environment. “Has he ever mentioned about a future with you?” You’re sure that he just needs some time. You don’t ever relay the concerns to him because you always come up with reasons for him.
You notice every little thing that he may like
You’re out with your family or friends when you come across an electronics shop. Ooh, he would love a huge monitor for his gaming sessions. When you’re out with him, you make mental notes of the things he stopped to look at and you’re reminded of him the next time you pass by.
You take his words to heart
“Are you sure you want to wear this dress?” That’s all it takes for you to condemn that dress forever. Or at least get it out of his sight. You take his words to heart and try to avoid whatever he dislikes, even if it means shunning your good friends, skipping your family dinner or watching movies together just because “that’s so boring”.
Planning your day around his
You never really tell him that but you often plan your days around his schedule. If you know he had to work OT on Friday, you’d tell him you have something on for Saturday morning. To him it may just be good luck or mutual agreement, but in actual fact you’re just trying to do what’s best for him without anyone finding out.
Every little gesture can make your day
You don’t expect anything from him, even on Valentine’s Day. But when he makes an effort to give you a surprise occasionally, it makes your day. And week. And you would still smile whenever you think of it. It’s because you don’t expect him to change for you but you’re appreciative of every little effort that he puts into the relationship.
The extra bit of effort
All dressed up and ready for the date? You’d double back to put on a little more mascara, or add a few pieces of accessories. Yes, you’d dress up for wedding dinners and formal gatherings, but when it’s a date with your man, you always put in that little bit more effort after you’re done, even if he doesn’t realize it. You’re the only one who needs to know.
You share his emotions
What an awesome day you had! The train didn’t break down, your boss was really nice and your colleague bought some snacks from Japan for you. But when you find out that he’s having a little bit of a tough time, it’s like you’d “channel” his emotions and start to feel a little moody too. Because hey, his problems are my problem too.
Learning his preferences
The two of you have completely different hobbies but the more you love him, the more open-minded you become to learn about the things that he likes, be it gaming, basketball or soccer. If you can’t change him – which you wouldn’t want to do – you try your best to join him. And you don’t bug him to teach you either. He would only find out when you respond to his ranting one day!
Compromising for him
While you have a lot of respect for his personal habits and space, you aren’t quite as stubborn about your own. Knowing that he doesn’t like to travel, you may start to lose interest in your grand ambition in travelling around the world. It’s not because you want to be just like him, but because you see more value and happiness with his companionship. What’s the point of a vacation if he isn’t going to be with you?
