Guess what, guys? It’s Feb, and you know what that means:
Chinese New Year’s coming! It’s visiting time! Yayyyyy!
I mean c’mon; the ang pows are great, but the rest is pretty much constant all the way.
“Ah boy, you got girlfriend already?”
“Ah boy, you got married already?”
“Ah boy, where you going after Uni?”
“Ah boy, you did it already?”
Which makes CNY visiting not just mainstream, but so… 2017.
Now, rather than indulging in such a ‘mundane’ aspect year in, year out, why not indulge in something… much more exciting?
I’m talking of course, about the one thing you’ll never get bored of:
Movies.
Without further ado, let’s move onto the top 5 movies you should catch this festive season, because visiting’s so yesterday!

Why you should catch it:
When I first saw the poster, I thought of two things:
James Bond, and Stephen Chow.
While the former’s not exactly CNY material, the latter certainly is. And seeing how Stephen Chow doesn’t seem to be abandoning his acting break anytime soon, Agent Mr Chan might just be that film to light up your Chow-less CNY!

Why you should catch it:
Marvel has a track record for producing excellent hero movies, and this one doesn’t seem to be any different.
Plus, Black Panther’s set to feature in the upcoming Avengers 3: Infinity War, so why not right?

Having become a Chinese New Year staple in recent years, Monkey King is back for a third edition, and judging by the trailer it looks absolutely lit.
