Chinese power couple Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming is many things: drop-dead gorgeous, influential, tabloid-worthy, the list goes on and on.
And yet, it seems that the couple isn’t stopping just yet, as they’ve just added another star-worthy trait to that list: benevolent.
In light of the recent coronavirus outbreak (a calamity that has claimed the lives of 170 civilians in China and infected thousands), the pair has donated a hefty SGD$39K in a bid to fund much-needed masks for valiant healthcare workers in Wuhan.
Now, money might not solve everything…
But when used in the right circumstances, it sure could do a lot for those who need it.

After the appreciation post went public, Mr Huang reblogged it and saluted the efforts of all those fighting the coronavirus on the frontlines:
“The medical staff are the heroes in our hearts.”
Our hearts too, Mr Huang.
Incidentally, Angelababy and Huang Xiao Ming aren’t the only Chinese celebrities who have chipped in towards rescue efforts in Wuhan.
According to The Star, Hong Kong actor Louis Koo has donated SGD$2 million to the Wuhan Benevolent General Association for the purchase of medical resources.
Heroes wear capes? Nah they act on screen and look gorgeous in pics.
Meanwhile, Chinese tech firms have also pledged millions as they join the fight.
According to South China Morning Post, Qihoo 360 has pledged to donate 15 million yuan in medical resources, while AI firm iFlyTek stated that it has donated 10 million yuan and 500,000 yuan worth of medical supplies.
We’re, erm, still waiting for Mr Ma to do something.
