I've something heinous to confess: I-I'm mortified by the very idea of monkey bars. Image: RAGE Fitness See, when I was 7, I tried playing with one. It was the worst experience of my life. Image: Imgflip As such, I started giving excuses for my failures: I'm too delicate for that shit; the bars are rigged; people who swing on them are steroid-infested thugs and I'm proud to say I'm not one of them. But people didn't buy it. I was condemned, shut out and forced to weep in a corner. And I reached a conclusion: Image: Imgflip #inspirationalaf And then I saw it. A video footage of an elderly lady clearing the monkey bars like a boss. All of a sudden, I wasn't quite so sure of my life motto anymore. What happened? The video starts off normal enough, with a frail-looking, elderly lady perched atop a trolley and reaching for the bars. I won't deny; I started worrying about her at this point. And then she lifted off. This lady is da woman! And then she took my breath away. Literally. This woman wasn't done with one round! She's going for a second one!
