Avatar: The Experience in Gardens by the Bay is officially open, and is probably the most Instagram-worthy spot in Singapore right now.
Here’s everything about this exhibition and how you can get tickets.
What Is Avatar: The Experience?
Officially opened on 28 October, Avatar: The Experience is open from 9am to 9pm daily, with tickets starting at $23. It will run till 31 March 2023.
Inspired by the highest-grossing film of all time, The Experience is an immersive walk-through exhibit set at Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest.
It invites guests to connect with their alien world of Pandora in its enchanting environments, in five different zones full of mystical creatures and flora. You also get to explore the captivating culture of Avatar’s indigenous people, the Na’vi.
While enjoying the exciting installations of the venue, you can also get a sneak peek of the Ilu, which is a new marine creature from the upcoming Avatar film The Way of Water.
A full walkthrough experience would take about an hour, and there’s merchandise available at Gardens by the Bay’s gift shop.
“Be inspired, be connected, and experience Pandora right here on Earth, at Gardens by the Bay,” said James Cameron, the creator of Avatar.
Where To Buy Tickets
While you can purchase tickets in person at the Gardens by the Bay box office, they “strongly suggest” purchasing tickets online in advance. You can buy tickets online either through the Gardens by the Bay website, or Klook.
Children above the age of three will need a ticket to enter the exhibition. Those under the age of three can enter for free with a paying adult. The exhibition is open to children of all ages, and those below 16-year-old must be accompanied by an adult.
If you want to go in a big group and were hoping for discounts, Avatar: The Experience sadly doesn’t offer group pricing currently. You can buy as many regular-priced tickets online as you need for the group.

Other Details
Do note that Avatar: The Experience contains strobe lighting effects, sudden loud noises, and theatrical fog/haze, so it might not be sensory-friendly for all.
Here’s a pro tip: try attending the exhibit during the day instead of at night. The natural soundscape and light reflections during the day enhance the exhibit.
Filming and photography are allowed for the exhibition. Last admissions are at 8pm daily.
