Open a bubble tea store in Singapore, and a line of Singaporeans will magically form the next day.
That’s because no Singaporean can resist a cup of bubble tea, even if it’s a risky purchase from a new enterprise.
Still, since there are an estimated 2 million boba shops in Singapore (I estimated this), you need to set yourself apart from the competition.
This is the only explanation for why we have monstrosities like the Wasabi Milk Tea, a drink so unnatural my colleague died inside several times while reviewing it.
This shop, on the other hand, has a unique way of serving their bubble tea, and if you happen to like drinking from egg-shaped cups, you’ll love their new product.
Shop in Lavender Has Bubble Tea in Reusable Dinosaur Egg Cups for an Additional $1.50
Throw away your Milo Dinosaur, close that Netflix tab, and dust your dogs because a bubble tea store in Lavender has launched dinosaur egg-shaped cups!
U-Cha Lavender shared details of their new cute cups in a post on Instagram.
Now, I know you’re probably wondering, what the heck does a dinosaur egg even look like? And why make a cup out of it?
These are very important questions, dear reader, questions that scientists hope to have the answer to someday in the future.
For now, though, let’s try not to question it too much, and just enjoy it for what it is: a weird-ass way to drink bubble tea.
The cups only cost an additional $1.50 on top of your drink’s price, which is pretty decent, considering it’s reusable.
You can purchase a dinosaur egg cup with the following drinks:
- Fruit Tea (From S$4.60 to S$5)
- Lemon series (From S$4.30 to S$4.60)
- Milk Tea (From S$2 to S$3.80)
- Pure Tea (From S$2.60 to S$3.80)
- Fresh Milk (From S$3.60 to S$5.30)
U-Cha Lavender is also giving away a free dinosaur egg cup for orders of more than $20.
This sounds like a lot, but considering the average daily boba intake of Singaporeans is fifteen cups a day, this might be a bargain.
How Big is it?
You might be worried about getting shortchanged when you purchase your bubble tea in an egg-shaped cup rather than a large cylindrical one, but you’re forgetting one thing: it’s a dinosaur egg.

If my biology teacher was right, dinosaur eggs are pretty huge.
So, unless you order a large, it’s safe to say that you’re still getting your money’s worth.
Available for Delivery
Good news for lazy Singaporeans: the cups are also available for both takeaway and delivery.
You can place an order at U-Cha Lavender’s website here.
