What would you do if you see a woman dressed like that in Singapore?

You might expect her to head to a party later that day, or maybe you’d like to be her friend.

But one middle-age woman decided to be the Karen in a viral Tiktok audio: she decided to go, “Wear your clothes properly, I’m warning you,” but in the most passive aggressive, and racist, way.

Auntie Suddenly Made Racist Remarks While Bunniejin Was Livestreaming in Heartland Mall

Alice, with the handle of Bunniejin, is a livestreamer from South Korea with over 55.6k followers on Twitch.

She’s now in Singapore for a holiday, and three days ago, she streamed about what she intended to do here in our sunny little island.

So for her to livestream about her adventures in Singapore is just another day for her, and she did just that yesterday (15 July).

As she was finishing up her breakfast in Heartland Mall at Kovan, an auntie suddenly approached her and gave her some unsolicited advice.

Initially, she told her not to dress that way, which Alice nervously replied, “I’m on vacation so I want to dress up a little bit.”

To which, the auntie replied, almost too calmly and indifferently, “Singapore is very safe, but you do not want to be raped by Indians.”

Alice then said, “Indians?”

“Bangladeshi and all. No, don’t dress like that girl. Okay?” the auntie explained.

Alice then thanked the auntie, but once she left, she immediately turned to the camera and changed her tone, exclaiming, “Oh my gosh.”

You can watched the footage here.

Oh my gosh, indeed. Hopefully she knows that the auntie doesn’t represent all Singaporeans.

Not the First Time a Livestreamer Got Disturbed by an Auntie in Singapore

Last month, a couple was livestreaming at the side of a covered pedestrian walkway outside Buona Vista MRT station when suddenly, an auntie clad in a pale pink shirt, denim shorts, and black slippers, plus a face mask hanging off her face droopily, approaches them from the back, saying, “Actually you’re not supposed to do this here.”

She then proceeded to get aggressive, and even kicked the couple’s food.

The police were called in, and the auntie was apprehended under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008.

I guess there one thing we can learn: if you intend to livestream outdoors, always be prepared to face the unexpected.

Especially aunties?
