It’s true, and it’s sold by none other than… Pizza Hut.
Pizza Hut S’pore Now Selling Cheese Durian Pizza & It’s Not A Joke
According to Pizza Hut, Singapore’s favourite king of fruits has joined the cheesiest party in town, extending the pizza chain’s 10th ‘Cheesiversary’ celebration with Cheesy 7 Durian (Cheesy 7D).
In celebration of the milestone, an extra delicious cheese has been added to the iconic Cheesy 7, making it cheesier than ever for a simple slice of cheesy indulgence.
The Cheesy 7D features a wondrous blend of 7+1 of cheeses: provolone, mozzarella, gouda, cheddar, monterey jack, romano, parmesan and cream cheese, and is paired with a luscious spread of real durian flesh over a fluffy pan crust pizza with a crispy edge.
All in all, it’s a definite ingredient fest…
With tons of cheese and durian flesh underlining it.
More Durian
In addition to the new Cheesy 7D, Pizza Hut will also be introducing other delicious durian delights such as the Durian Kaya Pull Apart and the Durian Kaya Tart in late October. Meanwhile, the Cheesy 7 Original and the Cheesy 7 Hawaiian will also be available for consumption.
The new Cheesy 7D menu will be available from 3 September to 27 October 2020 for Dine-in, Takeaway and Delivery. The Cheesy 7 Durian Pizza will retail for $26.90 (Reg) and $33.90 (Large) for dine-in, and $36.90 (Reg) and $44.90 (Large) for delivery.

Not The First Durian Pizza
For the uninitiated, Durian Pizza is a thing, and it has been a thing since 2013.
A small shop opposite Prata Wala in Jurong Point used to sell it for less than 4 bucks, and a food fighter who used to write with us praised the combination to high heavens.
In fact, just last year, Pezzo has also tried combining Kaya and durian into a dessert pizza and they’re confident enough to put it out there.
“What about those who don’t like cheese, durian or both?” you ask. “Like me?”
