The good news is that it’s valid for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. But the bad news is that it’s for a limited time only.
Life is short, eat first, decide later. But then, if you’re extremely worried you will put on pounds after eating KFC, then grab a cup of green or black tea to go with it?
According to Susanne Henning, a professor who led a study at UCLA Centre for Human Nutrition:
“It was known that green tea polyphenols are more effective and offer more health benefits than black tea polyphenols since green tea chemicals are absorbed into the blood and tissue.”
“Our new findings suggest that black tea, through a specific mechanism through the gut microbiome, may also contribute to good health and weight loss in humans.”
If you need more validation to buy that box of green / black tea teabags from NTUC, hear from Bill Gorman, executive chairman of the United Kingdom Tea and Infusions Association, who said:
“Black and green tea have a number of nutritional values and benefits which is something the Chinese established about 5,000 years ago.”
Now we know why older folks always drink Chinese tea. Or wait, is it just my parents who like it? Hmm.

But anyhow, don’t starve yourself even if you’re on a diet. Anyone can afford a cheat day someday, isn’t it? Only one life, treat yourself right.
