Indeed, there’re still three days left to the end of the week, and in all honesty…

It’s feeling like forever.

Thankfully, however, there are ways to make the week pass faster. Watching the most anticipated movie of 2019, which is slated to be released tomorrow (24 April), is one…

And free wagyu steaks qualify too.

The Feather Blade

Lest you’re unaware, The Feather Blade is a pop-up steakhouse inspired by London’s Flat Iron that stayed in Singapore for more than seven weeks.

According to the steakhouse, 3,000 diners popped by their outlet at Club Street over the course of the pop-up event, and in appreciation and celebration, they’ll be giving out free wagyu steaks on the night of 24 April…

Until the steaks run out.

For the record, the promotion will start at 7:00 p.m., and conclude when the steaks run out.

Permanent space

Originally meant to conclude in April, the success of the pop-up run has seen The Feather Blade move to a permanent space in Singapore.

Which is surely great news for all steak-lovers in Singapore, considering how the feather blade cut, a.k.a. the flat iron, hails from the shoulder blade of the cattle, and is nothing short of sumptuous.

Each plate of chargrilled steak (200g) comes glazed with butter and sprinkled with salt, and costs S$21++ on usual days. Sides and sauces, on the other hand, are available for S$7 and S$2 respectively.

And for the burger fanatics, you’ll be pleased to know that the steakhouse has recently launched the “Handshake burger” (S$21++), a burger that’s limited to 10 to 15 per day.

Lest you’re wondering what’s the big deal about it, the beef patty’s flash fried in its own fat to a crispy crust, while its insides stay pink.

Now damn, that sounds like a mouthwatering burger alright.

And to conclude on a sweet note (literally), each diner will be given a serving of Udders ice-cream on their way out. The dessert is completely free, and is a permanent perk of eating at the steakhouse.

And so… what’re you waiting for?

If you’re a fan of free wagyu steaks, or just good steaks in general. You know where to go.

Address:
Zui Hong Lou (Drunken Red House)
90 Club St, Singapore 069458

Opening Hours:
Tuesdays – Sundays, 5:30 pm till sell out

Though if you’re gunning for those free steaks, just keep in mind that last time The Feather Blade held such a promotion…

This was the queue.

So really, you should get going pretty early, though judging by how Avengers: Endgame is premiering tomorrow…

That should have cleared half of the queue by itself. 😉
