I mean, think about it. Businesses in Singapore exist only for one reason, which is to make money.
Editor: Uh huh but-
And how do they make money? By giving people what they want.
Editor: Okay…
And look at the many crazy businesses venture into bubble tea.

Editor: You know, you might just be…
And guess what? KFC, yes, the fast-food chain which should just switch from selling fried chicken, is looking to up their boba game.
Editor: Stop interrupting-
Because this time, they’re not just selling normal boba stuff. Oh no. That’s too McDonald’s.
They Are Selling Brown Sugar Boba Tarts.
Editor: TELL ME MOARRRRR-

First, let’s take a look at the tart.
Look at the glorious, wriggling brown sugar custard topped with pearls on top.
Mmm.
You can probably taste the sweetness just by looking at the picture.
The upgraded egg tart is made of brown sugar, jelly boba (okay, so not the real tapioca pearls), milk tea custard, all wrapped up in buttery flaky pastry.

Each piece will cost you $1.80 but, don’t say bojio, you can get 5 for $9 and get 1 free.
Which comes to $1.50 per piece.
While Stocks Last
As with all good things, this doesn’t last.
It’s a seasonal flavour and will be available at all KFC outlets except:
- Jewel Changi Airport
- Jurong West Street 51
- KidZania
- Oasis Terraces
- Paya Lebar Quarter
- Sentosa
- Singapore Zoo
- Toa Payoh Lorong 1
On a while stocks last basis.
So make sure you fast-hand-fast-leg, okay?

The tarts will start selling on 10 Oct 2019 so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for it.
While you might be disappointed at the down-sizing of KFC’s Zinger patty, their egg tarts have never let us down yet.
Editor: That’s tru-
Be right back while I go figure out how to steal the boss’s card for Fast Food Friday this week.
Editor: Goddamnit.
