Is your first instinct after a car crash to get medical attention?
Great. But what about going there by yourself without waiting for the authorities to arrive?
Very fishy.
Going to the Hospital Alone
On Thursday, when police showed up at the site of the accident where a car crashed into a bus top near the junction of Clemenceau Road and River Valley Road, the driver was nowhere to be found.
Where did they go, nobody knows.
At the time, it was suspected that the driver may have fled the scene to evade responsibility.
Well, it turns out, the female driver who “disappeared” had originally gone to the hospital for medical treatment alone.
There is no mention of how she did that on her own. But imagine how weird it is, getting into a taxi or public transport when you almost become past tense.
According to the police spokesperson, the car is thought to have lost control and skidded while on the road. It is initially believed that the female driver who was at fault for the crash fled the scene, making it difficult for the police to locate her when they arrived.
The case is still under investigation at the moment, with the female driver assisting with the investigation.
Hard Crash
The bus stop was wrecked hard.
The car had rammed up the curb and completely uprooted two safety bollards upon impact, with one crushed beneath the car and the other right in front of the benches.
The next biggest damage was that the hardcover for one of the supporting pillars had fallen off due to the impact of the crash, leaving the pillar beams bare and tilted.
The stone benches themselves also sustained some damage, with the top of one seemingly falling off.
