Grab Driver with Free Food & Drinks but Netizens Still Complain

Singapore is saturated with ride-hailing services, from the classic blue/yellow cabs to Uber’s modern electric cars and free WiFi is just one of its snazzy features.

And if you’re a frequent user of Uber or Grab, you would notice that each car is unique in terms of service.

If you’re lucky, you can get a pleasant driver who respects your space while you choose a soundtrack to your ride.

Or you can end up with a car that smells like death and the driver wouldn’t shut up despite social cues.

For one passenger, luck was on his side.

Facebook user, David Tan shared his Grab ride experience on his profile and it garnered 50 reactions—it deserves more, in my opinon.

The caption read: “ This is Nur … He picked up me this morning for My GRAB ride…He offers passengers drinks, cookies, sweets , chocolates etc… for free during the ride..I teased him that he also run a MaMa shop … It’s not difficult to see that Nur is serious in his job providing tip top customer service…Great job Nur ! BTW I grab a bottle for my birding session !”

From the picture, any 90s kid will be thrilled to see that Mamee is part of the snack stash.

Netizens’ were also impressed with the driver’s top-notch service.

This netizen’s experience is even more lit.

But you know, Singaporeans being Singaporeans, they can’t help but stir the pot, totally missing the point of the post.

So some of them did what they do best…complain.

But you know haters be hating.

Hopefully, he gets a 5-star rating—just like the guy who was too handsome.
