Don’t let the coronavirus blues get you down, because you won’t have to hop on board an aeroplane or travel too far to have some fun.

Lovers of Hello Kitty and all things pink will want to check out this Hello Kitty Event in JB that’s sure to perk you up.

And you guessed it, it’s even more pink (pinker?) than our dear PM Lee’s pink shirt.

If you need any more reason to go out of your house this weekend, even PM Lee reminds us Singaporeans to “stay calm and carry on with our lives.”

(Though I’m 98% sure he meant going out of the house and not out of the country, but anyways)

According to a Facebook post by Singapore Atrium Sale, there’s a Hello Kitty Fair that’s happening just across the border and it screams pink.

It’s not just any Hello Kitty Fair though. This one has been decorated to resemble our favourite sweet treats like pink strawberry doughnuts with confetti and even a giant macaron tower.

Now I’m getting hungry.

Fun fact: this giant macaron tower measures 7.7 metres and made it into the Malaysia Book of Records.

My only gripe is that it’s not edible… or is it?

Plus, giant, larger than life decorations can only mean one thing: Instaworthy.

There’s also a kids playground with seesaws to keep the kiddos entertained.
