Dry skin is not rare in hot sunny Singapore. If you do not have the habit of applying moisturizer daily, you might just find your skin peeling and shedding. The most common area of affliction would be our hands, especially if the weather is dry or you’ve got a sunburn. In fact, if you wash your hands too frequently, you might face the same problem too. Now, if the skin of your hands is dry and peeling even if you’ve been using moisturizer diligently, here’s 3 hacks you can use to prevent dry and peeling skin on your hand once and for all.
Using Warm Water
This is the simplest of all other hacks. Simply soak your hands in a bowl of warm water for about 10 minutes. The soaking helps to peel off the dry skin. The dry skin will fall on its own and if there are still any left, you can peel them off easily! After you’re done soaking and peeling, don’t forget to apply your hand moisturizer liberally so that your hand doesn’t dry up.

Using Milk
Yes, we love milk. It’s kind of like the mother lord of many remedies. Milk has so many qualities that can help you improve your body appearance. Mix two spoons of milk with a spoon of honey then apply the mixture to the afflicted area. Alternatively, you can just soak your hands in warm milk for 10 minutes.
Using Oats
Oats for breakfast, or oats for beauty purposes? Both works fine. I’m not an oats person but if you are and have lots of oats in your kitchen, you can make use of your breakfast to remove the dead skin. Mix a handful of oats with warm water in a big bowl and soak your hands for 10 minutes. Similar to the warm water soak, remember to moisturize your hands after you’re done soaking.
