It appears that the Hong Kong celebrities industry have no lack of romance problems.
Short-lived marriages, casual relationships, and cheating scandals are all too common.
It hasn’t been too long since the last major scandal. You know the one – Andy Hui and Jacqueline Wong.
As a result of the scandal, Andy Hui lost his chance to perform at a concert in September at the Hong Kong Coliseum in the events of HK Cheaters Season 1.
The chance was then given to the HK musical duo Boyz.
There’s no way the Boyz would screw up as bad as Andy Hui, right?
Nope. In fact, everyone’s favourite real-life drama HK Cheaters is back for Season 2!
Episode 1 – Sudden Marriage/Baby Announcement
Steven Cheung, the singer from the duo Boyz, recently posted a happy photo on Instagram.
He celebrated the 100th day of his baby with his fan, who appeared to be engaged as his fiance according to his caption.
Cute baby, pretty wife. All’s good, right?
There’s just one problem.
Steven was supposed to be attached to his girlfriend April Leung.
Netizens and fans were all taken aback by this announcement, being as confused as Nick Young.
It appeared as if April herself was as confused as us all, evident from her own Instagram post.
Episode 2 – April’s Despair
Her caption: “May i know what’s going on?!!!! Why does it suddenly feel like the end of the world?!!!!!!!!! #ICantGetThroughTheNight #TheStolenFiveYears”
It’s fair to say that she’s pretty agitated and emotional, seeing as how she’s spamming more question marks and exclamation marks than my girlfriend during an argument on top of the despair-filled caption.
Being both confused and angry, she lashed out even more. April revealed that he still had clothes at her place and that he still owes her money.
But wait, there’s more to this real-life Hong Kong drama.
Episode 3 – Exposed?
It was reported that he was involved with 3 more women. Yes, if the allegations are true, it would make a 6-way cheating scandal.
A user on Instagram named “Moon” reached out to April, claiming that she wasn’t Steven’s only victim.
“He also told me that he loved me! April, please reply to my DM. You’re not the only victim. We still have two other women.”
Apparently, based on the accounts of these women, Steven allegedly flirted with and seduced the women into relationships with him, in which he would also borrow money from them and dump them suddenly.
And as a result of all of these scandals, just like in Season 1, Steven lost the Boyz their Coliseum slot.
Episode 4 – Steven Apologises
In a post on Instagram, Steven publicly apologised for his actions.
It’s not worth translating the entire post in detail, because it’s a lot of generic statements like how sorry he is, how he let people down, how he was irresponsible, and how he wants to be a better man.
Still, nothing explaining his bizarre actions, though.
However, after all, all the accounts heard are mere allegations as of this post.
So stay tuned for more on HK Cheaters Season 2!
