Melissa Faith Yeo, former model and actress turned real estate agent, suddenly said that Andie Chen slut-shamed and cheated on her a decade ago.
You can read more about the drama and how Kate Pang clapped back with a super-sweet Instagram post here.
One week later, Kate and Andie sat down with Shin Min Daily News to talk about the saga, with Kate saying that she might sue Melissa. Here’s the details.
Drama Doesn’t Affect Their Relationship
Kate Pang, who has been happily married to Andie Chen for nearly 10 years, said that such drama does not affect the couple’s relationship.
In fact, Kate thought that the drama was outrageous, even though Andie thought that the rumours were merely strange and funny. Kate felt like such unfounded accusations could affect Andie’s reputation, and was angry on his behalf.
She also revealed that she did hear about Melissa accusing Andie of cheating when she first got together with him, but knew that they were false rumours.
Might Sue Melissa
Although Andie would just laugh and brush this incident off, Kate is ferocious about protecting her loved ones.
She told the Chinese media that if this matter is blown out of proportion, she may sue Melissa. Why should her husband bear such false accusations?
She added that if a person wants to vent, they should do it privately with friends and family, not through the internet. Especially when these accusations are completely false and could deal the other party great harm.
Kate also clearly believes in karmic justice, saying that if someone hurts another person, they’ll get their punishment one day.
Thankful for Melissa?
Kate believes that we should be thankful to all our ex-partners, as it was precisely because you didn’t fit well with them that you found a better partner later on.
She also advised Melissa to let go of the past and focus on living her best life. After all, why rehash decade-old drama when it only deals you more damage?

Sweet Marriage Even After 10 Years
Though Kate and Andie has been married for almost a decade now, the husband and wife are still very sweet.
Andie said that to keep the marriage fresh and sweet, it is imperative for you to share the same values as your partner. Both him and Kate believe in being as good of a person as they can be, and they support and understand each other unconditionally. Aww.
In fact, the couple often goes on dates to the movies, and still makes an effort to communicate well and understand each other even more deeply.
Additionally, the couple are always trying new things, like moving to Taiwan and settling down there. The family will also travel to different places like Australia in the upcoming months, and have fun together.
As for his career, Andie said that he’ll be starring in two local dramas, with one being an English drama and the other being Chinese. He also has schedules in Taiwan after the two dramas are done filming.
Andie had also established a game company with his younger brother, and is looking to start a personal blog.
