Everyone knows how hard it is to stop young children from running around, especially boys (personal experience).

Parents of young children may often find it hard to have a quiet meal when the young ones seem to not appreciate it.

Just when you thought you had the kid settled with some toys to play with, the next thing you know, the whole restaurant became a playground.

On Dec 9, a young boy was seen misbehaving at the Food Republic @ 313 Somerset. He “dipped his hands into food” and smeared them over the furniture, according to Stomp.

The incident happened around lunchtime, when there were other patrons trying to enjoy their meal.

The boy’s parents were apparently too ‘busy’ eating to notice his disturbing behaviour.

The family’s helper was looking after the boy…literally. She did nothing to stop him from causing trouble.

After some time, the young boy started to venture into other parts of his newfound ‘playground’ and climbed over his ‘obstacles’.

A kind passer-by tried to warn him of his dangerous actions and the boy obediently returned to his parents….where he starts to dirty a mirror with his gross hands.

The netizen who submitted the story said:

“It hit me when I saw the cleaner auntie’s tired look after the family left.

“Do they even think of the cleaners who would have to clean up after them?

I understand that young boy tends to be more active and wander around, doing things that may affect people around him.

I also understand that some helpers may feel that they are of no authority to educate their employer’s children.

But the parents?

Isn’t it their job to educate the child? Why bother bringing him out if you’re gonna act like you don’t know him?
