We have a love-hate relationship with claw machines.

You love the toys within because they are so cute. So cute that you couldn’t help but want to try your luck.

And you hate the machine for keeping you away from the toys.

Claw machines can be categorised as a form of gambling. Sometimes, you can get your toy with just $1. Other times, even $20 also might not get you one.

Because we all know that most of them are rigged.

Well for this lady who can’t seem to get the toy she wants, she decided to make her own luck.

Skinny Lady Spotted Lifting Claw Machine

According to STOMP, a netizen spotted four ladies surrounding a claw machine outside a beauty salon at Toa Payoh.

He identified the ladies as staff of the beauty salon.

They allegedly lifted up the machine and shook it twice in a bid to get to the toys.

Even though there were plenty of people walking along the streets.

Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly?), nobody actually came up to stop them and they reportedly walked away with two toys.

It’s A Crime, Guys

It might be toys and whether you get a toy or not depends on luck; but when you do this? It’s theft, man.

This isn’t the first time such an incident happened in Singapore.

A group of big, strong guys were caught on CCTV lifting and tilting a claw machine at Clementi.

The most impressive part is that two of them were wearing their food delivery uniforms while committing the crime.

The owner was contemplating affixing the claw machine to the ground so that no one can lift it up anymore.

But like my colleague says: It’s a great shame that we live in a world where a goddamn machine full of soft tiny toys has to be affixed to the ground because grown men would try to steal these toys otherwise.

Although do note that even items that are fixed to the ground don’t mean they’re not stealable, as this man has shown Singapore.

If you die-die want some soft toys, just go to Taobao lah.
