I have a lot of pet peeves. If I listed all of them, I think I could publish a coffee-table book.
Getting woken up by someone (earlier than the time I am supposed to wake up) is probably in the top tier of my pet peeves cake.
I have experienced it countless times with my brother, as we share the same room. His alarm would wake me up, while he is in a death-like sleep. After a month of tolerating this nonsense I decided to make sure he doesn’t get sleep.
I turned on the hairdryer at full speed, on all the lights and blast my music – simultaneously.
I basically made the room unconducive for sleep.
I thought I was bad/petty but this guy is on a whole new level.
According to The Star, an Indonesian man in his 20s sustained injuries in his ear and neck after his colleague stabbed him for allegedly playing video games too loudly.
WHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTT!
This guy has literally zero chill.
It happened in a worker’s hotel at Taman Nusa Bestari, Malaysia, and the victim was apparently playing his video game loudly in his room.
The 39-year old suspect was not able to sleep due to the noise from the next room (heck, they’re not even in the same room!).
Instead of talking it out like a normal person, he took a penknife and went into the victim’s room at about 7am.
After stabbing him, he went back to his room like a boss.
And go back to sleep, because #priorities
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Noor Hashim Mohamad mentioned to the reporters at a press conference that the victim suffered a 4cm cut on the back of his left ear and wounds on his left arm. He also added that there were two others who were also playing the game with the victim but were unharmed.
The victim was sent to the hospital to receive treatment. The sleep-deprived guy aka the suspect has been remanded under Section 324 of the penal code for intentionally causing hurt with a weapon.
He went through a drug test which came out negative.
I mean, no sane person would act that way unless they are under some influence of sorts.
If he does end up behind bars, he can finally catch up on his sleep.
If someone keeps you up or wakes you up for no apparent reason, you could either tell them nicely or just give them a taste of their own medicine.
But definitely not stab someone!
This world is weird, isn’t it?
