Not sure if you guys have seen this report here about a man stealing Adidas shoes and slippers.

I could never really understand why people would want to steal shoes, you know.

Firstly, why would you want to wear the shoes of a stranger? What if he/she has athlete’s foot?

Secondly, is anyone even gonna buy the shoes from you even if you attempt to sell it?

Stomper Desmond and Dennis alerted Stomp regarding the incident which occurred at Telok Blangah Cresent on 7 Dec, around 1 am.

A man took a pair of slippers and Adidas shoes worth $350 from Desmond’s shoe rack. The man used his shirt to cover half his face when stealing the shoes, according to the CCTV footage.

Here’s the footage, for you to refresh your memories.

The man’s brother has since come forward to return both pairs of shoes.

Apparently, the man was too ashamed to return the shoes by himself (Not bad, still know what is shame ah).

“They have apologised and returned the shoes. I think he has learnt his lesson and should be given a chance to be forgiven,” said Desmond.

Desmond has also said that he simply wished to deter the man from stealing any more shoes when he decided to share the video. Desmond has no wish to involve the authorities.

Hmm, but the man sure knows how to pick the shoes! TBH, I probably can’t differentiate a pair of $30 sports shoe from a pair of $350 sports shoe.

Anyway, please don’t go around stealing the shoes of your neighbours lah. Money aside, it’s really inconvenient for others when they can’t leave their houses because, well, their shoes are stolen.

Another way is for homeowners to just leave their shoe racks inside their house. I’m pretty sure that’ll solve most of the problems, no?

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about an NTU student who went all out to impress his crush, only to end up in…tragedy? Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
