Another day, another traffic news but this time it doesn’t involve e-scooters on roads or kids trying to stick their heads out of the sunroof while the car is on a highway.
It involves a driver breaking 4 traffic rules under 30 seconds.
Yes, under 30 seconds coz’ his time is more precious than ours
As fast as Flash and stealthy as Catwoman, he still couldn’t escape eagle-eyed netizens.
A netizen uploaded a video to Roads.sg Facebook yesterday, showing the driver in question and it garnered 19k views and 101 shares.
It happened at Block 513 Tampines Central 1 at about 9 P.M.
The video:

The first mistake
He reversed his Mercedes in the opposite direction of the road.

Second mistake
While he was reversing, he almost hit a pedestrian.

Third mistake
He turned a blind eye to the red light.

Fourth mistake
He reversed from a side road onto the main road like a champ.

Netizens were appalled
For once in a very long time, netizens were united in their opinions.

Thoughts
He should have just done a 3 point turn like what was mentioned in the video caption.
What else is there to say?
Just last week, a Mercs driver crashed into four innocent pedestrians, definitely not a good month for the PR people working for Mercedes.
