What’s even better than Nutella?
An awesome, new mall for us to explore, of course!
And just wait for it, because this particular one isn’t only brand new.
It’s absolutely amazeballs.
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the largest mall in JB (so far):
Paradigm Mall.
This novelty opened its doors to the public today (28 Nov), and boy; it seems like the best thing since sliced cucumbers.
Without further ado, let me just dish out some saucy dips, real quick.
Basic premise
Situated along the Skudai Highway, Paradigm Mall JB stretches more than 2 million sq ft.
In case you’re unaware, that’s even bigger than Singapore’s largest shopping center VivoCity. The Harbourfront-located mall has a gross floor area of 1.5 million sq ft.
So what does Paradigm offer?
For starters, the mall will feature the largest movie theatre in the state run by Golden Screen Cinemas, premium supermarket Village Grocer and department store operator Parkson.
Incidentally, Parkson will be the mall’s anchor tenant, occupying 200,000 sq ft of space.

The outlet is Parkson’s first regional store in the southern part of Peninsular Malaysia.
There’ll also be a 20,000 sq ft ice skating rink…
A Camp5 indoor climbing gym…
…and Malaysia’s first indoor skate park!
What about the mall in general?
Over 500 retail lots will be distributed evenly over six floors, and some renowned names among the tenants include H&M, Uniqlo, Harvey Norman, Wendy’s, Marrybrown and Under Armour.
The complex will also feature a 24-storey serviced apartments tower and a 296-room four-star hotel.
Well, how do I put this…
Unfortunately it’s a no go for me (because I’ve work tomorrow and my benevolent boss wouldn’t want me to miss it for anything), but you guys are different. So if you wanna check it out, here’s the venue:

Note: it’s a simple 20-minute ride from the Woodlands Causeway.
