Humans are creative. There’s no denying it; it’s in their genes.
However, creativity could resemble a double-edged sword at times. While it can definitely conjure up moments of magic for the masses, it’s also more than capable of whipping up stuff on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Like this one, for example.
Just last week, Malaysian cosmetic brand Elianto Make Up teased a new lipstick flavour on their social media site.
Which wouldn’t exactly have made headline news around the world, had it not contained a very special something.
Durian.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, give it up for…
Durian-flavoured lipstick.
The Malaysian cosmetic brand were evidently excited for the upcoming product too. Just check out their Facebook caption.
Pesticide free.
Anticipatory testimonials.
Supposedly cures hangover
Supposedly prevents alcoholic blackouts.
Yellow is the new red.
Am I the only one who’s getting an April Fool’s vibe here?
People are excited for it
While I can’t exactly say that I’m hyped up for the launch, others obviously didn’t share the same sentiments.
Well, people did vote for Trump. #justsaying
It’s still in the early stages
If you’re hyped up about the launch, don’t be, because the Musang King lipstick will take quite a while to be out in the market.
According to The Star, an Elianto representative reportedly told them, “We do have plans to manufacture it but we are only testing the market at this stage.”
So yeah, it will take quite a while. Although if I had it my way, the lipstick wouldn’t even see the light of day.
In the meantime, just stick to your standard-flavoured lipsticks, ladies.
Because honestly, not everyone digs durians.
And you don’t want to turn that guy off with a kiss that seems to have been born from a Durian’s anus.
Unless you want some puke in your mouth la.
