Squid Ink Tagliatelle – $24
(Puffed rice, seared scallp, mentaiko, ikura and tobiko)
We ordered this dish since we been seeing countless of it on our Instagram feed, and it sure did not disappoint. The tagliatelle was tangy. though I felt that the seasoning was a tad salty. The seared scallops were fresh, and nothing can ever go wrong when mentaiko, ikura and tobiko fuses together in a dish. $24 might be a little pricey, but I would still recommend you to try this on your first visit.
Big Breakfast – $24
(2 slices of toasted bread, house-cured salmon, bacon steak, double roasted mushrooms, chunky avocado spread, caprese and eggs done your way. Choice of: 63 degrees, poached, fried, scrambled)

The visual spread definitely undermines its taste. The avocado spread was a good accompaniment with the scrambled eggs, which were creamy and light. What caught our attention the most was the bacon steak! It was a Western rendition of Chinese roasted pork (shior bak as they call it), and the juicy pork slice, together with its BBQ sauce got a major thumbs up from us. Not forgetting the ricotta and tomato slices! The only thing which we felt could be improved on were the salmon slices which could have been fresher.
The food at Paddy Hills takes a little longer to be served, but I would gladly wait if the consistency of food remains. The servers took notice of our plates that were smeared with squid ink and promptly offered us a change of plates. Good and attentive service indeed!Atmosphere:
Paddy Hills gives off various vibes with its brick walls, wooden tables, and rustic coffee machines. Their interior is pretty spacious so it’ll be perfect for group gatherings. Just be sure to make reservations since it would get extremely crowded, especially on weekends.
