There’s no worse period than being an automobile owner right now as petrol prices have started to climb ever since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Users of petrol and diesel price tracker Fuel Kaki can see that Caltex—a petroleum brand under Chevron corporation and used across 29 countries in the Asia-Pacific region—has increased its diesel price by six cents, and petrol prices by seven cents across all grades.
Esso has increased its prices by eight cents to all fuel prices while Sinopec—a Chinese oil and gas enterprise based in Beijing—has increased diesel, 95-octane, and 98-octane petrol by eight cents and their premium 98-octane by 21 cents.
Shell also increased their diesel price by six cents and 95-octane plus 98-octane petrol by seven cents. However, their premium 98-grade has been lowered by 15 cents.
In other words…lai liao.
