The Circuit Breaker measures might have saved countless lives, but it could have indirectly caused the death of a man.
On Sunday, four violent incidents occurred, and one of them involved a fatality: a man was killed while jogging along Punggol Field.
It sparked a manhunt from the police, and as of now, it’s unknown whether the perpetrator (or perpetrators) has been founded.
Today, it’s reported that the victim is a 38-year-old man, and he had gone out of his house because he felt “cooped up at home.”

He was found injured at about 11pm.
The man allegedly worked in a sportswear company, and lived with his wife and a dog. He lived just two streets across from where he was found.

Three Other Violent Cases Happened on Sunday
It hadn’t been a peaceful Sunday in Singapore two days ago.
Other than this case, at about 3:30am that day, two groups of youths exchanged blows in a Chinatown condo, with one group attacking the other with parangs. The police are still looking for some of the people involved.
Two men had also assaulted a 30-year-old man along Bishan St 12 at about 5:40am, leaving him with cuts on his head and a fractured hand.
Over in Jurong West in the evening, a 21-year-old attacked a 26-year-old man with a “dangerous weapon”, leaving a pond of blood beside Blk 452.
