To all of you hardcore gamers out there, I’m sure you’re familiar with the name Razer. Initially famous for their gaming mouse, Razer has since advanced into the PC market, developing gaming laptops with good performance.
(Looks pretty sleek, huh)
Anyway, if you’re a fan of Razer products, you’re in luck.
In an announcement on Tuesday (21 Nov), Razer announced that it will be bringing its first smart phone, the “Razer Phone”, to Singapore.
This decision effectively makes Singapore the first ever Asian market to sell the phone.
(Yeah, I know right. I feel honored already)
In a press release, Razer has also announced that the Razer phone will go on sale on Thursday (23 Nov) with Singtel. The phone will be up for pre-ordering at Singtel’s booth during Sitex (23 Nov to 26 Nov).
Makes you think that this might be a good chance for you to sign up for a Telco plan with Singtel, eh?
If you’re interested in the phone and would like to see if it suits the gamer in you, the handset will be available for previews and pre-orders at Singtel retail shops after Sitex.
The phone will officially go on sale at Razer’s online store starting from the first of December.
The phone will retail for S$1068 without any contract. Hey, personally I think it looks cooler than iPhones (Well, maybe because I’m an android fan). Bring it on, Apple fans.
CEO of Razer, Tan Min-Liang, said that:
“While we founded Razer in California, US, I’m a Singaporean still and I’m very excited to make Singapore the first country in Asia to release the Razer Phone”
Yeah, for those of you who have no idea, Tan Min-Liang is a Singapore entrepreneur.
You know what they say. Own people must help own people right? (I suppose that would give some of you another reason to support the Razer Phone.)
