I can still remember the time I was 10-years-old.
Apart from the shy glances I shot at that cute girl beside me, I was gift-wrapping Pokemon cards and sneakily slotting them under her table.
On Christmas eve, I would take her to the nearby playground and play the see-saw together.
Yeah, memories. Kind of sucks that I didn’t get together with her at the end though (dat btch).
However, it seems that times have changed.
Case in example? This particular 10-year-old boy.
Instead of glancing shyly at girls, this boy has one hot model all to himself.
Instead of Pokemon cards, this boy got a cool iPhone X for her.
Instead of a see-saw, this boy took her to the cinemas. At an atas-looking mall, no less.
Doubtful? Spiteful? Disbelieving? Demand proof?
Well, here ya go.
How- What happened?
On 24 December, Facebook user Nantapong Kidwanpattana uploaded a series of photos on to his social media feed.
Which wouldn’t exactly have been front page news, had it not involved a ten-year-old boy and a hot af model/DJ.
Oh, and an iPhone X.
Loose translation of caption:
“Today, I’m bringing my girl out for a movie. Since she’s such an adorable girl, I’ve bought her an iPhone X worth 47,000 baht (approx. SGD 2,000) as a present.”
“This phone is a reward for our love. Merry Christmas.”
And he has the pics to back it up.
What a baller! Just look at that cheeky ass smile and that… gentlemanly hand!
That look of delight on the girl’s face… she’s totally smitten with him!
Aww… sho sweet.
What better than a heart-shaped gesture to mark the occasion, right?
And finally, a brand new iPhone X for his girl! What a generous, kind-hearted 10-year-old kid!
She isn’t just some model either
And to make the boy’s feat even more phenomenal, the girl is an established social media star, with over 226,000 followers to her name!
Whew, spicy.
Response
Naturally, Netizens had quite a lot to say.
“This goes to show that cash is king; and you can do anything if you’re rich, including finding a hot date,” a netizen said.
“This kid got a date with her because of his superpower of being rich,” another Facebook user said.
To that, I say:
Hah, what a bunch of salty ass chips.
Just admit it; the kid’s got more game than you.
And me.
…
Maybe I should reach out to the boy.
Because he could sure as hell school me in that aspect.
