2017 has been an exciting/bizarre year for everyone, including the beauty world.
Every month or so, there is some sort of wacky beauty trend on social media and every make-up artist (MUA) jumps on the bandwagon.
Remember when huge pouty lips were a thing?
Or the viral charcoal mask videos, where beauty bloggers basically strip their face, leaving them with clear (and possibly, sore) skin?
Even celebrities have started releasing their own make-up line, from Kylie Jenner to the recently launched Fenty Beauty by Rihanna which had people queuing up overnight at Sephora ION, earlier this month.
Well, now, squiggly lips is a thing.
Just take a look….
Being a 90s kid, it honestly reminds me of the Nickelodeon logo.
As ridiculous as it looks, it is a work of art, with its intricate swirls.
But why stop there. To complement your lips, squiggle your eyebrows while you’re at it.
I mean, with what all the weird happenings around the world, this seems like a perfect reaction to everything.
You might have to dedicate at least an hour or so every morning, to master it.
According to The Sun, a YouTuber Lexington, started the fad by posting a Photoshopped image of her squiggly lips as a joke, and Internet being the Internet, it became reality for some, and now, it’s a trend.
