It started off with a mama-san and her two henchmen in a car heading towards a market which she owns.

Extra points for the dramatic effect of black crows passing through as she walked out of her car.

She then berated the stall owners for rent, from throwing weighing scales to the floor to criticizing the cleanliness of the premise and throwing stall owners out of the market.

Yeah, she is one those cutthroat bosses.

In this day and age where social media is prevalent, a netizen captured the whole incident and uploaded it to social media.

You should know by now, what happened next.

The clip went viral, with streams of people leaving comments to the effect that the mama-san was a cruel and ruthless boss.

Soon enough, she also saw the clip and she said: Do everything the same, as always.

NO **** WERE GIVEN

It turned out that the viral clip couldn’t be further than the truth.

She is actually a very kind and understanding boss, offering people jobs and buying unsold produce from the stall owners.

For those “horrible” acts caught on video…well, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.

She threw the weighing scale because the butcher has been cheating people on the scales and the man that was carried out actually fainted.

Thoughts

There are always three sides to the story, your side, their side and the truth.

With citizen journalism on the rise, it is common for people to be judgmental about a situation without knowing the head or the tail of the story.

So the next time you see something on the internet, don’t blindly believe it.

Once again, a food for thought advertisement from Thailand.

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
