Whenever something new or unique hits our shores, you can be damn sure there will be a huge flock of people (I don’t want to specify a specific group of people for obvious reasons) during the opening week—remember the Artbox fiasco earlier this year?
Unfortunately, we are not blessed with winter so crowded places is a huge burden on all of us, sticky bodies brushing one another, it is like Zoukout without the music.
So when Prudential Marina Bay Carnival opened two weeks ago, my friends and I made sure we won’t step foot in that vicinity until next year when the hype dies down.
Why is that so?
Well, if you must know, more than 250,000 people visited the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival in the week since it opened, Channel NewsAsia reported.
That’s why.
I must admit that I was gloating in happiness when I saw the news and also thankful that my friends came to a unanimous decision which worked in our favour.
I mean, imagine rummaging through a crowd of sweaty people—my version of hell, if I must add.
Word to the wise, if you’re planning to head to the carnival on New Year’s Eve, good luck!
Those who are still adamant, the carnival opens at 3 P.M. and closes at 2 A.M. on New Year’s Eve.
For those who are smart…I mean patient, the carnival will be operating till 1 April from 4 P.M. to 11 P.M.
Admission is free; rides and games cost betwixt $4 and $14.
Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
