We know that time is of the essence when it comes to stopping a COVID-19 spread.
And that is why television broadcasting company, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), has halted all production after multiple staff and artistes have tested preliminarily positive for COVID-19.
The Hong Kong television broadcasting company issued a notice on 24 February via their Facebook Page to clarify that the measure was implemented to prevent the further spread of the virus.
It was also done to align with the goal set by the Hong Kong government to target the virus which aims to stop the spread of COVID-19 through “early identification, early isolation, and early treatment” of individuals who have tested positive.
Members Who Tested Positive Includes Actors
Among those who got a preliminary positive COVID-19 result were Hong Kong actors Kalok Chow and Law Lok-lam.
Law, who is 73 years old, is currently resting at home and has mild symptoms like a runny nose.
Productions affected include dramas like Fa Yan Ren, a thriller-law series starring Kenneth Ma, Rosina Lin, and Du Qiang Ren, a crime-drama series (it’s TVB, of course it has to be a drama about the police) starring Moses Chan, Edwin Siu and Nancy Wu.
