That’s what singer Wang Leehom said, teasing his 2023 comeback concert.

Wang to Make A Comeback in January
On Tuesday (6 Dec), Kwan’s International, the concert organisers for Wang’s comeback concert, shared a clip on Instagram.

In the clip, the 46-year-old says in Mandarin: “Even if there is only one person listening, I still want to sing for you”.
Well, I’m pretty sure that quite a sizeable number of people would sing his songs even with no one listening, so this isn’t exactly a feat, Leehom.

The concert will be held on 28 January, which happens to coincide with the first day of the Lunar New Year.
Try all you want, but I’m pretty sure you still can’t use Wang’s concert as an excuse to get away without greeting your relatives this year.
The concert, aptly called “One: Lee Hom Wang”, will be held in Las Vegas in the United States.

All the more reason why you probably can’t use this excuse to skip the Chinese New Year visits.

If you’re one of the fortunate few who manage to find yourself at the concert, however, get excited as you’ll be surrounded by a few thousand of Wang’s fans.
While the number is a far cry from the tens of thousands of fans Wang’s previous stadium concerts used to have, let’s take things slow and steady. The venue, a new theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, sits only about 4,700 people.
We’re just glad, in general after the years of COVID-19 restrictions, to have live concerts again.

Wang Leehom’s Divorce Scandal
The comeback concert comes a year after his divorce scandal, where allegations were made by his estranged wife Lee Jinglei against him regarding multiple infidelities.

In December last year, Wang broke the news that he and Lee had filed for divorce. What came after his announcement was something he could never have expected.
Lee proceeded to make multiple allegations against Wang, claiming that Wang had an affair with Singaporean singer Yumi Bai, and even accusing Wang of hiring prostitutes.
The pair have three children aged three to eight.

As the divorce scandal started to rear its ugly head, Wang decided to get away from the spotlight, and is only returning with his comeback concert now.
Since the divorce, the Taiwanese-American singer has allegedly been producing new music, some of which he may perform at the upcoming concert.
With any hope, he’ll be able to pull off a Jeff Ng and make this concert a success.
