2019 is going to be lit.
First, we’ve got Ed Sheeran coming over to our sunny island in April 2019. If you’re not into ang mo songs and prefer K-pop, there’s BTS, a popular Korean boyband that Dee Kosh doesn’t hate, holding a concert on 19 January 2019 in the National Stadium.
But are you an old fart like me who grew up with mandopop stars like Jay Chou or Wang Leehom?
Well, Jay Chou was in Singapore recently to hold a lift for someone in National Gallery but he’s not holding a concert here anytime soon.
Wang Leehom is, though. If he’s your forever love whom you won’t want to kiss goodbye to, you’ll be glad to know that he’s holding a concert here in Singapore on 5 January 2019.
And the best part? Tickets are already on sale, and the last I check, they’re still readily available.
Wang Leehom Descendants of the Dragon 2060 World Tour
Lest you’re wondering if Song Joongki and Song Hye-kyo are involved, the answer is no.
Despite the name sounding like one of our favourite K-drama, the concert has nothing to do with Descendants of the Sun, but a name of Wang Leehom’s world tour, also known as “龙的传人 2060”, a tour he started since April this year.
The concept of 龙的传人 2060 is a future world (set in 2060, of course) where anyone can be anyone he or she wants regardless of where one’s from.

Just two months ago, Wang Leehom welcomed his third child- a son – in the midst of this tour. The 42-year-old singer (doesn’t that make you feel…old?) has two other daughters.
Not sure about you, but back in the days when I supported Ah Chou and Ah Hom, they were all single and ready to mingle. Now they’re all fathers and yet I…
