By now, most of you would know about Changi Airport Terminal 4, and also about the open house that is set to be from 7 August 2017 to 20 August 2017.

Yes, an open house tour of an airport terminal: that’s how good and popular Changi Airport is. And with over 8K Shares on our article about the open house in less than 2 days, you can bet that many of us are eyeing for tickets, as much as we’re eyeing this year’s NDP tickets.

Well, we thought it’s a free-for-all open house without a ticket (after all, it’s an airport terminal—that’s like an open house to an MRT station, no?), but we’re wrong: you need a ticket.

Only 15,000 people are allowed into the terminal daily, with a totality of about 200,000 tickets up for grabs.

The free tickets will be given on a first-come-first serve basis, with each person being able to book a maximum of six tickets (with one for himself / herself).

Your “tour guide” will be an app that you’ll have to download and activate once you’re there—a clear indication that automation is really a big thing over there in T4. A “tour” takes about 60 to 90 minutes, with a walk of almost 1 km.

You can also play location-based games in the app to win e-voucher, though I’m certain the games aren’t about catching Pokémon.

The F&B outlets wouldn’t be available though, so visitors would have to make do with the water coolers or bring their own water.

According to Changi Airport, the tour will offer exclusive views of T4’s latest technology and interesting features, from facial recognition to kinetic art displays.

Just take note that the tour is during office hours (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), so you can either burn your annual leave to be one of the first to step foot into an ironic terminal or try your luck to book a weekend ticket.

But don’t fret if you don’t get the time or date you want; according to the FAQs, if anyone cancels their booking, you’ll have a chance to book that slot. It’s kinda like how people would go online every morning to check if anyone has cancelled their TP test slot.

Or if you’re lucky enough, you might just have a flight that depart or arrive in T4.

You can book your ticket at this URL: www.T4OpenHouse.com , which just went live early this morning (5 July 2017) at 12:01 a.m.

And did I mention that there’re also lucky draws for the visitors?
