Man Murdered Woman & Tried To Have Sex With Corpse
A man was charged in court for murdering a lady, whom he saw as his girlfriend, on 21 March 2016.
The man, Boh Soon Ho, 51, strangled Zhang Hui Xiang, 28, to death in a fit of jealousy as she did not reciprocate his feelings towards her and instead went out with another man. After killing her, Boh also tried to have sex with the corpse and even took nude pictures of the lady.
He then fled to Malaysia where he was arrested soon after.

Dog Abuser Pleads Judge To Not Ban Her From Keeping Dogs
A Singaporean lady was charged with animal cruelty and is suspected to have killed her dog on 23 February 2018.
The prosecution is currently requesting the court to ban her from keeping pets. However, the lady pleaded with the judge to not order for the ban as she has been using dogs as her “emotional support” for her mental illness.
The order is currently on hold and she will be back in court on 23 October 2019 for the decision to be made.

Man Killed Supervisor To Fund His Wedding
A man, who was working as a cleaner, stabbed his supervisor to death with a grass cutter on 26 November 2016 at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and later threw her corpse down the drain.
The man also stole her jewellery, which he later pawned for $3,300. It is said that he was desperate for money for his upcoming wedding hence, he resorted to murder. He was arrested three weeks after his marriage.

17-Year-Old Stole $15,240 From Decathlon
Thinesh Paramasivam, 20, was caught for stealing a total of $15,240.59 from Decathlon located at Chai Chee over the span of two years. He was 17 when the offence was committed.
Thinesh, who was a part-timer at Decathlon then, noticed a loophole in the point-of-sale system, which he made use of to create fake refunds and channel the credits to his bank account.
Decathlon later discovered the discrepancies in their inventory system and caught Thinesh’s act in February 2018.

Indonesia Announced That Cloud Seeding Was Successful
Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) released a statement on 19 September 2019 that they have successfully carried out cloud seeding and heavy rain is expected for the next seven days.
This operation is in an effort to fight the raging forest fires which were said to have declined by 2,000 hot spots between 15 – 17 September 2019.
