Trash is meant to be thrown into the trash bin – a simple logic that some people can’t seem to understand.
Just a month back, an Australian man had thrown a wine bottle out of his house and ended up killing a 73-year-old man.
However, people don’t seem to wake the shit up even after reading such news.

A Bag Of Trash Thrown Down From High-Rise Unit
A cleaner, Phang Aik Kam, 70, had just started her shift at 8am on 2 September 2019.
She was cleaning the bicycle racks area on the ground floor of Braddel View condominium when she felt something hit her shoulder.
Ms Phang then realised it was a white plastic bag full of trash on the floor, which was believed to be thrown from a unit.
According to TNP, Ms Phang has said that there was nothing hard in the bag but it did crash loudly on the ground after hitting her shoulder.
Luckily, Ms Phang was unhurt.
Concerned Residents Feel Nothing Can Be Done
Ms Phang had then reported the incident to her supervisor.
The condominium’s management office was also informed and a police report had been made.
According to Mothership, many residents have expressed their worries but felt that nothing can be done to avoid getting hit.

Some residents have also expressed concern for their children’s safety as they often play outdoors.
Cameras Set Up To Catch Litterbugs
Following the incident of a 73-year-old man being killed after getting hit by a wine bottle, the Parliament had since discussed the issue of high-rise littering.
Senior Minister of State for Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor had said that the National Environment Agency (NEA) is working on the issue.
Surveillance cameras are also being installed around high-rise flats (primarily in HDB flats) to nab these high-rise litterbugs.
Alternatively, as a helpful civilian, you can call NEA’s hotline or submit information and evidence of any litterbug incident you saw.

NEA is also reported to be conducting educational programmes and outreach efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of high-rise littering.
But isn’t this all common sense?
