8 Insta Story Hacks That Are Way Better Than The Font Change

I am sure we have all heard of the new font change thingy on Insta story.

Personally, I think it’s good, in the sense that it adds more variety.

But the limited choices certainly ain’t spicing up my stories a lot…

If you are facing the same ‘trouble’ as me, fret not. I’ve found help! In a video posted by Facebook Page 噪咖, she provide hacks that’ll make your Insta Story gold.

1.Special Font

For those of you who are complaining about the lack of choices of fonts, here’s the trick:

Go to coolsymbol.com, choose a font that you like and type in the box. Then copy the new font and paste it on your Insta Story!

Take note that this trick only works if you’re typing in English.

2.Plain Background

Are you one of those who likes to use a black background and vent your anger on Insta story?

Why not consider a change of background colour? That may lighten your mood, you know.

Just saying.

All you have to do is to choose a colour from the palette and press any spot on the screen for 3 seconds.

Your screen will automatically change into the colour you’ve chosen.

3.Gradient Background

Want something more?

You can also unleash your creativity by creating a gradient background.

First, choose a sticker with the colours that you want.

Then, enlarge your sticker and adjust it so that you can get the gradient that you want!

4.Stickers

I bet very few people actually knew about this. You know the stickers provided in Insta story?

You can actually change their facial expressions!

Just choose a character and tap on it.

But do note that not all stickers have this function.

5.Motion Font

Now, this is new. You can actually animate your fonts now!

Download the app ‘Hype Type’. Type your words and use the functions below to change the motions and colours.

6.3D Font

This is more commonly seen on my Insta story.

Basically, all you have to do is to type your words two times, each in a different colour.

Then, stack them up but make sure they don’t lie on top of each other.

And tadah! There you have it, your own 3D artwork!

Even those who can’t draw using a pencil also can do this.

7.Rainbow Font

Ok, this is gonna get tricky.

First, you have to select the whole word/phrase.

Then click onto the palette.

Using one finger, slide the cursor on the words to the left.

At the same time, slide across the palette with another finger.

8.Gradient Font

Using the same method as above, this time around, choose a colour and slide down the palette.

So instead of getting a colourful word/phrase, you have a gradient of the same colour!
