Even if you’re busy, you should still take your time to rest and eat.
Case in point: this Thai influencer who ate her food too quickly, choked, and landed in a vegetative state before dying three months later.
Choked on Food, Got to Hospital Too Late
Thai internet celebrity Arisara Karbdecho, known as Alicebambam, choked while eating moo ping, or skewered pork, with sticky rice.
According to her mother, Arisara was always working and didn’t have time to rest. On that day, her daughter was eating her meal quickly so that she’ll have more time to work, which led to food getting stuck in her windpipe.
She then collapsed and was rushed to a hospital. However, the doctors told Arisara’s mother that they arrived “nine minutes too late”, and there wasn’t enough oxygen in her brain.
This led to Arisara being in a vegetative state for three months. According to her friend, she passed away on the afternoon of 6 June.
