Details of the Event

Held in the natural outdoor amphitheatre of Fort Canning Park from 11 – 21 August 2016, make sure that you don’t miss out on an opportunity to experience this exciting event.

Tickets are already available for sale online with an amazing film programme that ranges from comedy, drama, romance and action. Classic favourites such as Forrest Gump and Anchorman are also part of the lineup. Tickets will also be sold in the location provided that it is not sold out online.

How to Get There

Fort Canning Park is easily accessible using public transport, you can choose to alight from City Hall, Bras Basah or Dhoby Ghaut stations and take a short walk to the location. Uber is also collaborating with the event where they are offering free $15 Uber Credit for first-time users, so carpool with your friends and take an Uber there if you prefer.

The gates open from 5:00pm onwards so make sure to head on over there as soon as you finish work in order to grab the best spots for your movie.

Screenings start when the sun sets and dusk settles, approximately around 7:30pm so while waiting for the movie, have a little picnic.

Relax on the cool grass and dine on the delicious, gourmet fare sold by the Providore while catching up with your friends. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are sold here so you can chill with a glass of wine or a pint of beer and enjoy the view of the magnificent setting sun.

An important reminder for eager visitors is to not bring alcohol to the event as it is not allowed but you can prepare and bring your own food if you think that the food there is not suitable for you.

This fun and one-of-a-kind event is best enjoyed by adults due to age classifications of the films with the minimum age of 7 years old for little ones. So date your partner, friends or family and be prepared for a relaxing, interesting evening of watching movies in the open air.
