Remember this guy?
You probably do. But should you for some inexplicable reason not be familiar with him, here’s a brief intro: Dee Kosh, real name, whose real name Darryl Koshy, first joined YouTube in 2006.
Since then he has dabbled in various entertainment fields, including Power 98 FM and youtube channel Night Owl Cinematics.
But while his sharp tongue has gotten him many followers and enemies, none of his arguably controversial past squares up to this latest incident, in which he found himself at the receiving end (probably for the first time) of a particularly intense online bashing. And if the ones at the forefront get their way…
Dee Kosh might not get to attend the upcoming BTS concert at all.
What happened?
But before I go on, let me just elaborate further on the whole Dee-Army fiasco so far. Apparently, it all started…
With a bluebird.
Unpopular Opinion : BTS’s songs all sound the same. I need something fresh! Come on now….

Thereafter, numerous BTS fans defended their idols, which was still pretty acceptable. Dee, however, wasn’t quite done yet.

Considering how K-Pop fans are generally regarded as more aggressive-passive, that’s probably not a very good move on his part.
And for a period of time, it seemed that the ARMY (as BTS fans are called) was having the upper hand.
Which prompted this response by Dee.
But it didn’t stop there.
Apparently, some fans even reported his YouTube channel. And much to our disbelief, this happened.
But then it came out:
It was all a sham as part of a ‘social experiment‘.
So apparently, Dee Kosh had been masterminding the whole thing behind the scenes. Which means that all along, he had been the one with the upper hand.
Although now that we think about it, does he really?
Restraining Order
Since the ‘conclusion’ of the incident, a petition has been set up by BTS fans to ‘restrain’ Dee Kosh from attending the concert.
And at the rate things are proceeding, it seems that the ARMY might just have its way.
On the site, the starter behind the petition listed a number of reasons why the influential YouTuber should be barred from the concert.
And to the average layman, it sounds more than justifiable enough.
And they also stated the repercussions that could come about in allowing Dee entry to the concert.
Because of that, they proposed…
A restraining order.
Which is really kind of a big turn from Dee’s usual days.
But hey, who am I to judge?
As such, I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether the petition would actually come into effect.
Because if it does, BTS fans might indeed be the ones walking away with the last laugh.
Let’s just say that the BTS Army just has a mob manning #jokethatisnotfunnybutilike
