Chinese New Year is coming up soon.
To be exact, from the time of writing, there’s a countdown of 19 days.
It is a time where we are allowed to gamble to our heart’s content and indulge in the CNY snacks.
While COVID-19 has disrupted many of our large gathering plans, you can still bring up to five guests to your place (for now).
And as a host, soft drinks are a must.
Read on to find out where you can snag a great deal while it lasts. Don’t say we bojio.
Hidden CNY Drinks Sale Near Pioneer MRT Station
For those living in the west specifically, you may rejoice.
Introducing “Chap He Diam”, a store located near Pioneer MRT Station. It is also known as杂货店 or Provision Shop.
According to their Facebook page, the concept of their store is “old school feels with a mix of the modern feel”.
As CNY is approaching, Chap He Diam is holding a massive promotion of their drink cartons.
Sit tight and buckle up, because the promotion is huge.
Coke can at less than S$0.50
In a picture posted by Facebook Page Singapore Atrium Sale, it is shown that a carton of 24 coke cans is sold at S$9.90.
If you’re too lazy to do the math, we’ve got you covered. One coke can amount to approximately $$0.40.
Saying that it’s cheap feels like an understatement now.
But that’s not all.
Chap He Diam also posted more pictures on their Facebook page about the CNY drinks sale. From the stacks of cartons piled up in-store, you can clearly tell they’re well prepped.
For example: per one carton of 24 Yeo’s chrysanthemum tea packets, it is S$8.90. If you’re a member, that would also cost you S$4.85.
Signing up as a member is free, so you should know what to do.
On top of that, one carton of 24 JustTea lemon tea packets costs S$3.50 for members. The price for non-members is not clearly stated.

How to get there
Here is the address of the store: 51 Soon Lee Rd #01-51A Singapore 628088.
It operates from 10am to 10pm daily and the nearest MRT station would be at Pioneer.
Judging from the photos on their Facebook page, it looks like there is an abundance of stocks made available for us. Please do not rush down in a hurry to snatch up the cartons.
A repeat of what happened in Malaysia after a Coke shopping frenzy is not needed.
